DAR Constitution Hall Engagement Session

Kelsey and Charlie met with me on a chilly October morning to take their engagement portraits at DAR Constitution Hall. Constitution Hall is one of the most timeless wedding venues in Washington, DC, with its white walls and classic architecture. Kelsey and Charlie will celebrate their wedding at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in the summer, and I can't wait to celebrate with them!

Kelsey and Charlie opted for outfits with blue accents that perfectly complemented each other without feeling too "matchy." The pattern on Kelsey's dress is minimal and classic, and the couple popped against the white walls of Constitution Hall. Not sure how to dress for your engagement session? Neutral colors never go out of style, and will look timeless against any backdrop. Flowy materials create movement for the camera to capture. Be wary of satin or silk-like materials, because these will wrinkle easily!
