Rose Hill Manor Wedding: Claire & Jake

Claire and Jake celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Rose Hill Manor in Leesburg, Virginia. This couple carefully curated every detail of their wedding day; their invitations featured a sketch of the venue, and Jake created the design on their tote bag wedding favors. They were surrounded by so many loved ones, who stood and cheered as they walked down the aisle. The rain that had been forecasted cleared just in time for their outdoor ceremony, but poor weather could not shake this couple.

Claire and Jake chose timeless black and white as their wedding colors, accented by dusty blue. I loved the little detail of the venue printed on their invitation!

Claire and Jake each read a handwritten note from each other after getting dressed, and I think this is a wonderful tradition. One of the best ways to connect with your spouse-to-be before you walk down the aisle is to share a handwritten note with each other. It's the perfect way to ground yourselves in the moment, and reminds you of the reason your loved ones are gathered there...to witness your continued journey together and the love you share!

Claire and Jake decided to do a first look, and we searched for a spot that was both private and provided coverage from the misting rain. I love this arch of greenery around the back of Rose Hill Manor. It was the perfect place for Jake to see his bride for the first time!

The rain stopped just in time for their ceremony outside, and Claire and Jake's guests were so happy as the wedding party, bride, and groom walked down the aisle. Claire and Jake's parents entered hand in hand, a beautiful symbol of two families becoming one. The ceremony began with a song, which caused many gathered to tear up with emotion.

The reception kicked off with a group dance by the wedding party, leading into Claire and Jake's first dance. The reception concluded with a private last dance and a sparkler exit!
