I dont' usually get out to the Jefferson Memorial for engagement sessions outside of cherry blossom season, so I loved the chance to spent a fall morning out on the Tidal Basin this past weekend! The fall foliage by the Washington Monument was beautiful, and the Jefferson Memorial was nearly empty other than a couple of families. With the Lincoln Memorial under construction, the Jefferson Memorial is a perfect alternative.
I met up with Chloe and Joe early in the morning for the first part of their engagement session at the Jefferson Memorial, and the light was so soft and perfect for them. We then headed to Tudor House, a gorgeous estate with a garden in Georgetown. We had the whole place to ourselves! Chloe and Joe will be getting married at the Great Marsh Estate next fall, so Tudor House mirrored their wedding venue.
