It's officially "cozy season," and what better way to celebrate than with a pop of champagne?
Emily and Clay met up with me at my favorite DC spots, the Jefferson Memorial and Georgetown, for their fall engagement session. The Jefferson Memorial is just classic DC. I love the grandeur of the columns, the views of the other monuments, and its beauty in any season. Other than a few other photographers and some runners, the Jefferson Memorial is typically fairly empty, making it the perfect spot.
Before heading to Georgetown for the second part of their session, Emily and Clay popped a bottle of champage. They were gifted a beautiful, monogrammed saber as an engagement present, so they had to try it out to open the bottle!
We then headed to Georgetown and explored the cozy neighborhoods. The best part of Georgetown is you don't need a photography permit, just some good walking shoes and gorgeous weather.
I can't wait to see Emily and Chase again this spring for their wedding at Dover Hall!
