National Cathedral and Georgetown Engagement Session | DC Engagement Session | DC Wedding Photographer

The grounds of the National Cathedral are just beautiful, especially at sunrise. The Bishop's Garden feels like a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle around the monuments in DC, and the architecture of the Cathedral itself feels grand and classic. Katherine and Adam met with me at the National Cathedral to start their engagement session in the gardens, before walking through the Cathedral's arches and columns.

Summer in DC is notoriously brutal, and I'm so glad we met early in the morning to avoid the heat of the day. From the Cathedral, we traveled into Georgetown to walk around the Canal and the historic neighborhoods.

I'm excited to share a few sneak peeks, and I'm looking forward to seeing Adam and Katherine again next fall for their wedding at Oxon Hill Manor!
