Did you know there is a beautiful European estate tucked away in Virginia's capital city? Dover Hall, a luxury wedding venue in Richmond, Virginia, was host to an incredible photography workshop. Planned and hosted by David Abel and Lustre Theory, this workshop included a tablescape overflowing with richly-colored blooms, couture fashion, and a beautiful horse!
I also tried my hand at film photography! I brought my Pentax 645 with some Fuji 400H film. This was my first time working with this camera, and I didn't have my own light meter or tripod yet. David Abel, one of the hosts and an amazing film photographer, showed me how to use his light meter and tripod for the flat lay images below. Needless to say, I've added both a light meter and a tripod to my gear!
